Prescription refills

If a provider at Novant Health Pediatrics South End has prescribed a medication for your child and you need a refill, contact your pharmacy when you have at least a three-day supply of the medication remaining. This will give your pharmacy time to refill the prescription or to call our office if permission is needed. Calling our office instead of your pharmacy could delay the refill process.

Some prescriptions require that a hard copy be brought to the pharmacy in order to get a refill. If your child’s prescription requires this, you will be informed when it is prescribed.

If your child is ever having difficulty taking a medication or if your child is having unpleasant side effects, please let your pharmacist and our office know.
