Well-child checkups include screenings and evaluations aimed at catching problems early so your child’s pediatrician can work with you to establish a plan of action quickly.

Preventive well-child appointments are also a good time for our patients’ parents and caregivers to ask questions about health or development. Our board-certified pediatricians are always happy to listen and direct you to the tools or information you need to best help your child.

Addressing all health and development needs

Should a concern arise regarding your child’s health or development, you will not be alone! Our providers will work to make your child feel better or establish an ongoing treatment plan. Should your child need more specialized care than our office provides, your family will have access to specialists across the Novant Health network. Your child’s primary pediatrician in our office will work closely with any specialists involved in your child’s care.

At Novant Health Pediatrics South End, we believe providing remarkable care is about more than top-level medicine. We want medical care for your child to fit easily into your schedule. That’s why we open our office at 7:30 a.m. weekdays so your child can be seen before your busy day starts. We also reserve same-day and next-day appointments for sick patients so your child can see a provider you trust when you need care most. And, with free parking in a covered deck just steps from our door, you can always get into and out of our office easily.
